Hi and thank you for reading my 4th blog - I can't believe we have already had 4 Treats bags! Hope you are all loving these as much as I am...I have been through my bag and tested all of the products to help give you my review and top tips on them.
Catch my drift Gelish x Morgan Taylor two of a kind
I absolutely love this colour, I'd describe it as a blue with a hint of purple, it applies beautifully in two coats and I can already see as I am writing this it is going to be extremely popular with my clients, once again Red10 have done it again and not only offered the Gelish but a two of a kind! My polish collection just keeps growing and with it people are starting to upgrade to toes more than they ever have.
TOP TIP - place the matching polish bottle on your desk once your client has chosen their colour, it opens up a conversation and with it an opportunity to upsell.
ATJ Filigree Nail Stickers
In my bag I received an ATJ Filigree design in gold, I absolutely these and they are so quick and simple to use!
TOP TIP - Once you have used TIO to complete your Gelish manicure lightly buff the surface, apply your Filigree and add another layer of TIO, cleanse and buff to smooth if needed.
Soak Off Kit
This is great as a retail opportunity, in the kit you receive a thin wooden file, 2oz soak off remover, 1 full size 15m Nourish and 10x Magis Wraps. These are great for clients who can't have their nails done regularly and want to remove themselves.
TOP TIP - have these on view in your salon as a great conversation starter, especially for seasonal clients.
Pack of files
I LOVE these files! In my bag I received a thin wooden file, which can be used backwards and forwards on the nail due to its fine grit, it is very gentle and another great retail item! I also received a 150/150 file which is great for refining fresh acrylic/hard gel and removing gel polish for an infill. The 180/180 is great for softening the edges after shaping with your 150/150. The 100/180 buffer is my most used, this is used for acrylic and Gelish preparation and is very gentle on the nail, it is also used to break the seal for Gelish removal. The 220/280 buffer is great for use before polish application as part of a classic manicure. The eco shiner is for bringing your hard gel/acrylics to a high shine.
TOP TIP - For a glass look high shine shape the nail with your 150/150, refine with your 180/180, soften with the 100 side of your buffer and then buff in this order to remove scratches and bring a high shine.

White side and buff to squeak!
This must be one of my favourites so far, this is an iridescent powder which changes colour dependant on your base colour, my favourite is over black for an oil slick effect!
TOP TIP - burnish into the tacky layer of the final cured colour layer of your gel polish, making sure to dust of any excess with a soft brush, I tend to use a kabuki brush or blusher brush.
ATJ Chocolate Orange Cuticle Oil
This is such a lovely smell! And comes in the full manicure range which clients love!
TOP TIP - mix and match which cuticle oil you use on your clients, chances are they will purchase their favourite!
ATJ Bee Bar Lotion
I received the ATJ Bee Bar Lotion in scent Sweet Honey, this is great for sore and dry hands this winter, another great use is as a barrier, I always use it before I start work as my hands are near a lot of products for a long amount of time.
TOP TIP - warm in your hands until it melts slightly and rub in, great for dry areas too such as elbows and knees.
Sam Biddle Be Creative Water Based Paint
I received purple in my bag and I absolutely LOVE the high pigmentation in the colour! This is great for creating fine lines and detailed designs.
TOP TIP - if your paint is thicker than you are happy working with you can add a little water and shake well.
I received pink in my bag, I wish I'd had this sooner and it will be a great addition to my summer collection, the moyra pigments are so highly pigmented you only need a tiny amount!
TOP TIP - burnish into the tacky layer of your final colour coat, there are so many designs to be done I would love to see yours! I'd recommend x2 topcoats.
Thank you for reading I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and happy new year.
