Hi all and thank you for reading this months blog! we are over half way through now and I cant believe how quick the months are going, ill be sad to see the Nail Treats come to an end!
Gelish Vegas Nights/Morgan Taylor Fame Game
I absolutely LOVE this glitter I would describe it as a soft iridescent glitter over soft colours but when used over strong bright colours it really makes them POP! When doing fades and ombres this is beautiful for softening the blend. A lot of my bridal clients choose this glitter over nudes to add a touch of glam to a classic look.
You can retail the polish to match for traditional mani/pedi clients to touch up their look between services. In my salon I have an area of my desk that I use for promotions and as It comes in a great box too, whenever I get a 'Two of a kind' set i always paint a colour pop and leave it, with the box with Gelish and MT in on the promotion section of my desk and 9/10 clients are always drawn to it! It creates a conversation about the colour and also loads the clients with ideas they can have on their nails by you inspiring them with the possibilities that can be done with the colour.
ATJ Manicure Brush
I love to have everything matching in my Salon so having an ATJ manicure brush just adds to the consistency of my products, I love that it can also be disinfected. It is light to hold with firm bristles.
ATJ Nail Resin
I was dubious to try a new brand of resin after using Harmony Secure however I have found the ATJ a great addition to my nail products, with its extension nozzle which can be replaced or soaked stops the bottle getting clogged up, it is super fast drying which is great for applying tips at speed! It is a medical grade resin and can also be used with the ATJ silk and fibreglass systems.
180/180 Nail Harmony file
I love the shape of this file especially when using the harmony filing techniques, it is great for refining the surface after an acrylic, hard gel or polygel service, it can be used multiple times by just brushing excess dust off with your ATJ mani brush and spraying it with file and tool disinfectant.
ATJ Sponge Wipes
These are amazing for doing a fade/ombre with lacquer or gel! There are multiple uses for the sponge wipes, my favourite is the fade, distribute a small amount of gel onto a foil wrap or a palette, lightly dip one of the sponges into the gel and dab off excess onto the foil/palette/couch roll and work it in to the nail starting at the free edge, easing your pressure as you move up the nail for a gentle fade, do thin coats to ensure the fade is even and to also make sure you do not get air bubbles in it.
I also use these when using the Gelish dip system to brush off excess powder as it doesn't scratch or leave marks into the dipped nail. It also stops your dip application being lumpy and prevents your dip base from clogging up. These can also be used as an alternative for cotton pads for cleansing the nail prior to Gelish applications, removing the final inhibition layer from Gelish TIO and also removing nail lacquer.
ATJ Base Line Base Coat
What a great ATJ related treat bag! as you may all know I am a MASSIVE fan of ATJ products! So in our Treat Bags we have had a top coat, we have had colours and now we have a base coat! I would ALWAYS use a base coat with any nail polish applications and I also urge my clients to purchase a base coat and top coat for when they are doing their toes or children's nails to prevent staining and peeling.
Reflections Acrylic Colour Powder
In my treats bag I received 'Flint' from the Riches collection, the colours from the Riches collection are a gorgeous mixture of shimmers and metallics, These are especially good for blending and fading, they can also be used to add shimmers to 3D art and come in a generous 7g pot with a clear lid so you can easily see the colour inside.
